Managed Infrastructure & Operations

Keep infrastructure reliable, documented and improving - without overloading your internal team.

Hopp Solutions provides ongoing engineering and operational support for cloud, virtualized and hybrid environments. The service combines monitoring, maintenance, incident investigation, backup supervision, documentation and regular improvement planning under an agreed scope and responsibility model.

When this service is a fit

  • The internal IT team is spending most of its time reacting to operational issues.
  • Infrastructure knowledge is concentrated in one person or external provider.
  • Patching, monitoring, backup review and documentation are inconsistent.
  • Several vendors are involved, but nobody owns the full operational picture.
  • A migration or modernization project is complete and the new environment needs structured ongoing ownership.
  • The organization needs senior engineering capacity but not another full-time specialist for every platform.

Service scope

What ongoing operational ownership includes.

Review alerts, validate impact, investigate causes and follow agreed escalation paths during contracted coverage.

icon

Maintenance and patch coordination

Plan and track operating-system, platform and component maintenance within approved windows.

icon

Backup supervision

Review failed or warning jobs, capacity, repository health and restore-test commitments.

icon

Incident investigation

Provide infrastructure-level analysis, remediation and coordination with application teams or other vendors.

icon

Capacity and performance review

Track resource pressure, growth trends and recurring performance constraints.

icon

Change and vendor coordination

Document approved changes and coordinate dependencies across hosting, network, software and security providers.

Operating model

Onboard. Stabilize. Operate. Improve.

01

Onboard

Confirm scope, systems, access, dependencies, owners, service hours, escalation and the documentation baseline.

02

Stabilize

Resolve high-risk gaps, reduce alert noise, confirm backup health and establish recurring operational routines.

03

Operate

Monitor, maintain, investigate, document and communicate according to the agreed service model.

04

Improve

Use monthly reviews and trend data to prioritize reliability, performance, cost and automation improvements.

Service options

What the monthly review covers

  • Incidents, recurring issues and root-cause actions.
  • Monitoring health and unresolved alerts.
  • Backup status, restore tests and capacity risk.
  • Patching and maintenance status.
  • Performance and capacity trends.
  • Changes completed and planned.
  • Open risks, decisions and dependencies.
  • Recommended improvements for the next period.

Responsibility model

Managed service works when ownership is explicit.

The onboarding process creates a responsibility matrix covering Hopp Solutions, the client, application owners and third-party providers. The scope identifies what Hopp monitors, what Hopp can change, what requires approval, what is excluded and how incidents are escalated.

Frequently asked questions

Coverage is defined per agreement.

Yes. The service begins with an onboarding and knowledge-transfer phase, including access, documentation, monitoring, backup and open-risk review.

Yes. Managed operations can cover a defined platform, provide second-line engineering or own specific operational outcomes while the internal team remains in control.

Infrastructure-level investigation and vendor coordination can be included. Application development and functional support are separate unless explicitly stated in the service scope.

The agreed change process defines standard, normal and emergency changes, approval authority, implementation records and rollback expectations.

Access is removed, client information is returned or deleted according to the agreement, open work is handed over and the final documentation set is provided.

We will review the environment, responsibilities, monitoring, backup, documentation and recurring operational pressure before recommending a service model.
