This notice explains the cookies and similar storage used on hoppsolutions.com, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how you can change your choice at any time.
Your choice
When you first visit the site you are asked to choose:

- ◯ Reject - the same as “Only necessary”: no analytics.
Until you choose, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics scripts are loaded. The site works normally while the choice is open, and you can keep browsing without deciding.
Changing your mind. Select “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. You can switch at any time, in either direction. If you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies this site can reach are deleted straight away and the scripts are no longer loaded.
You can also delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so removes your stored choice, so you will be asked again on your next visit.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These are set without consent, because the site cannot function as you asked without them.
- ◯ hopp_cookie_consent - set by Hopp Solutions (first party). Expires after 12 months. Remembers your cookie choice, the version of this notice you were shown, and when you made the choice. Without it you would be asked again on every page.
This cookie contains only your choice and a timestamp. It holds no name, email address, IP address or identifier that could be used to recognise you elsewhere.
Analytics - only if you allow them
These help us understand how the site is used, so we can see which pages are useful and where the site is confusing. They are not loaded unless you choose “Allow all”.
We use them for aggregate measurement only. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not sell or share this data for marketing.
Google Analytics - provider: Google Ireland Limited.

- ◯ _ga_EXL8BP1FVK - expires after 2 years. Keeps session state for this website, such as session count and timing.
Hotjar - provider: Hotjar Ltd. Used to see how pages are used in aggregate: where people click and how far they scroll.
- ◯ _hjSessionUser_6501006 - expires after 12 months. Recognises a returning device.
- ◯ _hjSession_6501006 - expires after 30 minutes. Holds the current session.
- ◯ _hjFirstSeen - expires with the session. Records whether this is your first session.
- ◯ _hjIncludedInSessionSample_6501006 - expires after 2 minutes. Whether this session is part of the sample being measured.
- ◯ _hjAbsoluteSessionInProgress - expires after 30 minutes. Whether a session has already been counted.
- ◯ _hjCookieTest, _hjLocalStorageTest, _hjSessionStorageTest - removed immediately. Brief checks of what your browser supports.
What we do not use
This site sets no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. There is no advertising pixel, no social media tracking pixel and no remarketing tag.
Storage that is not a cookie
- ◯ hopp:service-interest - stored in session storage and kept until you close the tab. If you select a service in the contact or booking form, this carries that choice to the confirmation page so the suggestions shown there are relevant.
This stays in your browser, is cleared when the tab closes, and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is only written after you submit a form yourself.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
