Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure

Build the right cloud foundation without forcing every workload into the cloud.

Cloud works best when workload placement, identity, networking, governance and operations are designed together. Hopp Solutions assesses the environment first, then creates a cloud or hybrid architecture that can be secured, documented and operated by the teams responsible for it.

When this service is a fit

This service is designed for organizations that need a practical cloud decision, not a cloud-first sales pitch.

  • Your on-premises infrastructure is aging or approaching a hosting renewal.
  • Some workloads should move to cloud, but others have operational, latency, compliance or cost constraints.
  • Azure resources have grown without a consistent landing zone, network or governance model.
  • Identity, access and endpoint controls are not aligned with the target architecture.
  • The organization needs a documented target state before requesting migration proposals.
  • Cloud costs, ownership or day-to-day operational responsibilities are unclear.

What you receive

Deliverables that make the target environment operable.

icon

Current-state assessment

An inventory and high-level map of infrastructure, workloads, identity, network dependencies, operational constraints and known risks.

icon

Workload placement recommendation

A reasoned view of what should remain on-premises, move to public or private cloud, be retired or be modernized first.

icon

Target architecture

A documented design covering subscriptions or accounts, networks, identity, access, security boundaries, shared services and management.

icon

Landing-zone implementation

A controlled foundation for resource organization, naming, access, logging, policies, security and cost ownership.

icon

Hybrid connectivity

Design and implementation for VPN, routing, segmentation, DNS and secure communication between cloud and existing environments.

icon

Identity and access integration

Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, role design, MFA, Conditional Access and privileged access considerations.

icon

Monitoring and governance model

Operational ownership, alerting, logging, policy, cost reporting and change-management expectations.

icon

Documentation and handover

Architecture diagrams, configuration records, decision log, operating procedures and knowledge-transfer sessions.

How the engagement works

Discover. Assess. Design. Implement.

01

Discover

Confirm business drivers, deadlines, constraints, stakeholders and the current technology landscape.

02

Assess

Review workloads, dependencies, identity, networking, data, backup, security and operational capability.

03

Design

Create the target architecture, workload-placement decisions, implementation roadmap and governance model.

04

Implement and validate

Build the agreed foundation, test connectivity and controls, document the result and hand over operational ownership.

Typical deliverables

  • Cloud readiness report and prioritized findings.
  • Current-state and target-state architecture diagrams.
  • Workload classification and placement matrix.
  • Landing-zone design or implementation.
  • Network and connectivity design.
  • Identity and privileged-access model.
  • Security, logging, monitoring and governance baseline.
  • Cost assumptions and ownership model.
  • Implementation roadmap, risk register and decision log.
  • Operational documentation and handover workshop.

Hopp Solutions recommends the architecture that fits the workload and operating model. Public cloud, private cloud and on-premises infrastructure are evaluated as design options, not ideological choices.

Why Hopp Solutions

Cloud architecture that accounts for the environment you already operate.

Many cloud projects fail operationally rather than technically. We include identity, network dependencies, backup, support responsibilities, documentation and recovery assumptions in the design so the target environment can be managed after implementation.

Frequently asked questions

No. Workloads should be placed according to operational, technical, security, compliance and cost requirements. A hybrid or on-premises outcome may be the right decision for part of the environment.

Yes. Roles, access, decision rights and handover responsibilities are agreed at the beginning of the engagement.

Microsoft platforms are a core capability, but the assessment starts with the workload and current environment. Other providers or private-cloud platforms can be included where they are part of the architecture.

Yes. A fixed-scope assessment can produce the architecture, risk findings and roadmap without committing the organization to an implementation project.

Data categories, locations, access paths, processors and transfer requirements are reviewed as part of the architecture. Where Hopp processes personal data on a client's behalf, the contractual role and technical and organizational measures are documented.

The environment is documented and handed over. Hopp can also provide retained engineering or managed infrastructure services under a separate scope.

Use a Cloud Readiness Review to identify workload options, dependencies, risks and the operating model required for the target environment.
